AYASOFYA MUSEUM ( Saint Sophia )

This ancient basilica built by Constantine the Great and reconstructed by Justinian in 6 th century , is one of the architectural marvels of all time . Its immense dome rises 55 metres above the ground and 31 metres in diameter . The beautiful decorations include fine Byzantine mosaics .
